1) Choose a city with a large immigrant population (a multicultural city like Toronto)
2) Give us a bit of background information about your city: For example: Size of the city, its location, major tourist attractions, official language spoken, etc
3) Focus on, and research three immigrant communities that live there
Find out which part of the city they live in, where their restaurants are (what they eat, what they wear, etc)
4) Make a brochure advertising the multicultural aspects of your city, and present it to the class on Friday.
You can use images from the magazines in our classroom.
5) Make sure to include your five vocabulary words in your brochure and in your presentation
