Please look at the debate vocabulary on page 17:
In two groups, we will be debating our topic in Unit 7.
Please use as much of the new vocabulary as possible to make three arguments.
First debate topic:
Homework as punishment for bad behavior (for ex, 3 or 4 hours in one night)
Second debate topic:
Homework guarantees better grades for students and higher test scores (and more entry into universities and better careers)
Third topic:
Less homework and longer school days would benefit students most
